landlocked country of South Asia. The district, located in the Mid-Western Region with Nepalgunj as its district headquarters, covers an area of 2,337 km² and has a population (2001) of 385,840.
Geography
Banke is bordered on the west bys and border to the north and east. To the south liespecifically and of . East of Nepalganj the international border follows the southern edge of the
